NCIS HAWAII is a matter of weeks away from its premiere on CBS as fans eagerly await to see Vanessa Lachey bring the spin-off to life for the first time. And to send excitement levels even higher, showrunner Larry Teng has shared an update on how things are going.
Following the cancellation of NCIS: New Orleans earlier this year, CBS announced the NCIS would still continue to grow with the introduction of NCIS: Hawaii. The upcoming series marks a number of firsts for the NCIS universe, becoming the first spin-off filmed on the picturesque island as well as being led by the franchise’s first female lead, Jane Tennant (played by Vanessa Lachey). With a premiere date penned for Monday, September 10, showrunner Larry Teng took to Instagram recently to reveal that not only the pilot, but episode two have both wrapped.
Sharing a snap behind the scenes with the NCIS: Hawaii cast, Teng sparked a frenzy on social media with the existing new update.

NCIS has typically aired on CBS in the USA on Tuesday evening but season 19 marks a new plan of action.
